ABC announced Tuesday that Joan Bathos will be the next love interest to be rejected during Jerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor.
Vassos, 61, appeared on the debut season of Turner’s Golden series, but unfortunately had to leave the show in the third week due to a family emergency.

Joanne is a grandmother.

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and support, not only for me but for my daughter as well. We are all healthy and happy now! As for me and my journey to love…where will I go next? I think you have to watch it. Then stay golden,” Joan concluded.
Joan was married for 32 years.

On May 8, Vassos was a guest on “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour,” hosted by “Golden Bachelor” contestants Susan Knowles and Kathy Swartz.
In the episode, Joanne admitted that she didn’t think about dating for several years after her husband’s death.

“I went into my first year and I just wasn’t ready. There was no possibility of me dating anyone. I went into my second year and I felt like I wasn’t getting any younger. Two years went by. “But I felt like, ‘It’s like I didn’t become prettier or less wrinkled,'” Vassos said.
