The bundle will go on sale in late May, he said, and will be “offered at a significantly reduced price point than what’s currently available.”

So what is going on here…?

Streaming is not going well at all for left-wing Hollywood. Cable/satellite TV used to be a cash cow where everyone had to pay big bucks for channels they never watched, but that’s not how streaming works. With streaming, you pay for the content you want to watch. Therefore, streaming is performance-based. With cable/satellite TV, you have to pay for tons of junk shows you don’t watch. So cable/satellite TV is the left’s affirmative action against multinational entertainment corporations.

Without affirmative action, many other networks, CNN, MTV, the various Disney Channels, and Comedy Central would not exist. There aren’t enough people watching to earn the advertising dollars needed to make a profit.

Because streaming is performance-based, most streaming outlets are losing billions of dollars or barely breaking even. Simply put, not enough people want to watch Hollywood shit. So…

Hollywood’s goal is to bring cable/satellite affirmative action programming into the streaming world. In that world, we’d subscribe to a streaming outlet we never watch and access the one or two we watch often.

We’re not there yet. You can also subscribe to each streaming outlet individually. But the end goal here is to turn streaming TV into cable TV, where the only options are overpriced packages. That’s how cable TV works. If you want to watch Fox News or Turner classic movies, not to mention sports, you have to fund (directly through your cable bill) the stations that hate you, like Disney, CNN, Comedy Central, MTV, etc. . However, streaming is still a la carte, and you can subscribe to what you actually want to watch.

Hollywood will quickly try to kill that option.

What Hollywood really hates is what’s called “churn.” For example, he subscribes to Disney+ for two months, sees everything he wants to see, cancels Disney+, then subscribes to Paramount+ long enough to see everything he wants to see, then cancels. , and on and on.

There are two reasons why you can’t do that with cable. The first is that a la carte is not an option. Second, unlike streaming, the TV shows you want to watch are not saved and can be watched at any time.

Once cable TV is phased out, you’ll see Hollywood do the following with streamers: 1) Force you to subscribe to the bundle and 2) Start removing shows and movies before canceling.

I recommend? Stop paying for streaming or cable TV today and use the money you save to build your own home video collection of DVDs and Blu-rays.you will Own No one can take that away from you. In the end, you’ll own a library of tried and true entertainment. My collection is now so large that I never run out of things to look at, and nothing I own is woke, gay, emasculating, or dogmatic. Instead, it’s art, Citizen Kane, Seven Samurai, The Maltese Falcon, Red Dawn, Death Wish 2, and green beret.

Plus, there are plenty of free streaming services that offer all kinds of great shows. Check out Pluto, FreeVee, Tubi, and Roku Channel to get started.Only assholes pay to stream.
