Founded in Shenzhen in 2022, Astribot maker Stardust Intelligence traces its roots to Tencent Robotics Laboratory, Baidu, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, led by founder Lai Jie.
S1 will take a year to evolve and is expected to hit the market in late 2024. The robot’s name is inspired by the Latin proverb “Ad astra per aspera” and reflects the company’s journey and commitment to AI robotics technology.
