I Would ‘Absolutely’ Doubt Michael Cohen’s Testimony If I Was a Juror

CNN’s Anderson Cooper said Thursday about the network’s coverage of former President Donald Trump’s business records trial that if he were a juror, he would say after cross-examination by defense attorney Todd Blanche that witness Michael Cohen He said he would question its credibility.

Cooper said, “Michael Cohen realized that when he was cornered all day, he found himself cornered. There was a pattern in which he suddenly couldn’t understand the questions being asked. Apparently, he was trying to buy himself time to try to understand.” I guess you could say it’s true,” he said. What and how does he want to answer? But he definitely suddenly started asking Tod Blanche questions repeatedly saying, “He doesn’t quite understand what he’s saying. He’s confused by the questions.” But this time, many in the room believed that Michael Cohen was cornered by what appeared to be a lie. ”

He added: “The significance of that moment was clear to everyone in the courtroom, and even if you weren’t aware of it, the sound of all the reporters in the room clicking on their typewriters sounded like a crescendo. It was obvious to everyone at that moment.

CNN legal analyst Ellie Honig said, “I want you to know if I can put you in the jury box because you just witnessed that cross-examination, that conversation happened exactly as Michael Cohen testified.” Is there any doubt?” he said.

Cooper responded, “That’s right. Absolutely. I think Michael Cohen’s credibility on this, this particular topic, is devastating. That’s tough too, I don’t know. Yes. If I were to do this… If you were a juror in the case, you would look at that and think, this guy is making this up as he goes along, or he’s making up this particular story.”
