Actress Angie Harmon has filed a lawsuit against Instacart and its driver, Christopher Reed, alleging that she fatally shot her dog during a delivery in March.
Harmon is suing Reed and Instacart for gross negligence, trespass, invasion of privacy and intentional harm, according to court documents. obtained By Fox News.

As Breitbart News reported last month, Harmon accused a delivery driver of fatally shooting her dog, Oliver, after delivering an order to her home over Easter weekend.
“This Easter weekend, a man delivering groceries for Instacart shot and killed our precious Oliver,” the actress wrote in an Instagram post. “He got out of the car, delivered the food, and then shot our dog.”
Harmon went on to claim that the driver shot his dog because he knew the driver was not being recorded on his home’s surveillance cameras.
“Our Ring camera was charging inside the house and he looked at it and realized he wasn’t being recorded,” she claimed. “Police released him because they claimed he acted in ‘self-defense.’ He had no scratches or bite marks, and his pants were not torn.”
“He shot our dog at home with my daughters and I and kept saying, ‘Yes, I shot your dog.’ Yes, I did.’ I lost my beloved son and family. , we are completely traumatized and devastated,” the actress added.
A spokesperson for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department told Fox News that the March 30 incident was investigated, but no charges were filed as a result.
“Upon investigation, it was determined that a delivery driver had arrived at the residence to deliver supplies,” a spokesperson said. “The driver told officers that while he was at the residence, he was attacked by a dog and defended himself by firing one shot, hitting and fatally wounding the dog.”
The spokesperson added: “Another dog was present at the residence but did not attack.”
Meanwhile, Instacart permanently suspended Reed’s account and told Fox News, “Our hearts remain with Mr. Harmon and his family in the wake of this disturbing incident.”
“While we cannot comment on pending litigation, we do not condone violence of any kind and the shopper’s account has been permanently disabled from our platform,” the company added.
