Apple to release slimmer iPhone in 2025: report

Apple is developing a slimmer version of the iPhone that will likely be released by 2025. Information reported Friday, citing three people familiar with the project.

The report says the thinner version will likely cost more than Apple’s iPhone Pro Max and is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 17 in September 2025.

The expected revamp underscores the need for Apple to strengthen its most popular product, the iPhone, as it grapples with stiff competition from China’s Honor and Huawei and Samsung Electronics of the world.
