Video game company Activision Blizzard reportedly encourages employees to participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and has created a diversity officer to ensure DEI compliance for each video game.

The DEI infusion didn’t end there by any stretch of the imagination. The company promoted a series of bizarre “employee networks” based on race and sexuality. These included the “Black Employee Network,” the “LGBT+ Employee Network,” and the “Multicultural Employee Network.”
The company even said in the report that it had introduced an “inclusion score” for its employees. This score is “a quantitative measure of how welcomed, valued, and included an employee feels within the organization.”
This was used to justify the company’s collection of “DE&I data,” meaning tracking of race, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. More than 60% are white and 79% are male, according to company data.
Only 1% identify as non-binary.
