Remaining NBA players as anime characters

The conference finals of the NBA playoffs are about to begin, and the Indiana Pacers boston celticsand the Dallas Mavericks Stand up against minnesota timberwolves. And the best part about the conference finals is that you get to have a little fun comparing NBA players to cartoon characters.

Bleacher Report produces great videos such as: hero ballis an anime version of the NBA, so I thought I’d give it a try! let’s do it!

minnesota timberwolves

Anthony Edwards plays Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen

There are several reasons why Edwards is compared to Itadori. The first is a natural blend of humor and leadership, and Itadori quickly boosted the group of Megumi, Nobara and Gojo, just as Edwards did with the rest of the Timberwolves. He brings a lot of energy to the court and is becoming a superstar in front of the NBA.

Karl Anthony Towns is Iida Tenya from My Hero Academia

It would probably be best if these two were supporting characters instead of main characters, but that doesn’t mean they’re both inherently bad. Towns and Iida have each played their roles very well on their teams, and both have been great in key moments. Also, both of them are a little corny, but you can tell their intentions are good most of the time.

Rudy Gobert is Usopp from One Piece

Both catch a lot of attacks (most of the time, that’s a given) and play their roles very well, although they can absolutely fall apart in some bad situations. Gobert is a very good defender who can roam around and cause havoc, but while he lacks a bit on the offensive end, he still plays a great role.

Jaden McDaniels is Gin Gagamal, Blue Rock

One of many super role players remaining in the playoffs, McDaniels does the dirty work for the Timberwolves, making him the best offensive wing player on the opposing team and providing athleticism and length on the offensive end. Gagamaru doesn’t speak much on Blue Rock, but it’s clear he was a key figure in Team Z’s survival during the team stage.

Mike Conley as Leif Eriksson from Vinland Saga

Erickson and Conley have both seen it all and done it. Conley, who travels all over the country to play basketball, may be older, but he’s there to support young Edwards and the Timberwolves’ youth. Just as Eriksson is looking for him all over the world to help the young Thorfinn, Conley’s ability to bring stability to his team has gotten Minnesota this far.

dallas mavericks

Luka Doncic is Trafalgar Law from One Piece

Both Law and Doncic are very calculating, choosing to go at their own pace and dictate the flow of the game in their own unique ways. When you step on the court with Doncic, you can step into his room and knock down step-back threes or throw wizard passes all over the court.

Kyrie Irving is Gaara from Naruto Shippuden

Gaara’s storyline is quite interesting in the Naruto world. He initially appears as a big villain, but later in Shippuden he becomes an ally of the Hidden Leaf Village. Irving appears in a similar fashion, and although he has been seen as a villain ever since he left Cleveland, he seems to have everyone on his side this time around. But we can’t forget the biggest part. Both Gaara and Irving are extremely talented and can completely take over if they want to.

PJ Washington is Gajeel Redfox from Fairy Tail

Washington and Gadgil, who were acquired in the middle of the season and have greatly contributed to the team’s development since then, were both on opposing teams in the starting lineup, but are now on the same team.

Derrick Jones Jr. is Shinra Kusakabe from the Fire Force.

This is very simple. Both Jones and Kusakabe are explosive and generate firepower from their lower bodies. Just as Shinra uses fire to achieve incredible speed, Jones can quickly get up from the ground.

Daniel Gafford is Franky from One Piece

Frankie and Gafford, other characters later added to the group, are tanks on their respective teams. Both provide toughness and support to the protagonist, which is essential for later success. However, we don’t know if Gafford likes Coke.

indiana pacers

Tyrese Haliburton is Hawks from My Hero Academia

After All Might went down, the world of My Hero Academia needed more heroes to step up. Although Hawks’ approach to becoming a hero is unconventional, he is extremely versatile, making him one of the leaders of a new generation of heroes. Haliburton doesn’t always play like his new-age point guard contemporaries, but he’s gotten the Pacers this far in his own way, and it’s working well for him.

Pascal Siakam is Jinbe from One Piece

Just as Gafford and Washington were acquired midway through the season by the Mavericks, Siakam fills the same role with the Pacers. He’s the team’s stabilizer and someone who can get tough buckets inside the arc when Indiana needs them. Jinbe came to the Straw Hat Pirates later in the show, and he is the rock of the pirates, providing stability as well as being extremely powerful as a former general.

Myles Turner is a firefighter’s firefighter.

Hinawa and Turner are both long-range snipers, but can provide support both offensively and defensively. Hinawa is the second-in-command of the 8th Division and is a little more stoic than Turner, but both are important supports to the team captain.

Aaron Nesmith is Eijiro Kirishima from My Hero Academia

A character better suited to support than the limelight, Kirishima’s hardening makes him better at defending and guarding others. Against every top guard Indiana faced in this playoff game, Nesmith was the tip of the spear, playing tough defense while providing timely shot making.

Andrew Nembard plays Kaiju No. 8, Reno Ichikawa

Although he doesn’t get much attention from Indiana’s backcourt guards, Nembhard is a reliable shooter and provided one of the best moments for Pacers fans during this run. Just as Ichikawa continues to refine his role, Nembhardt is also growing alongside Halliburton.

boston celtics

The Celtics are the worst so you won’t get anything.
