After upsetting the defending champion Nuggets, the Timberwolves are the favorites to beat the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals ahead of the series tip-off on Wednesday night.
Minnesota is currently -165 on ESPN Bet to reach the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history, making them heavy favorites to pull off an upset over Dallas at +140.
Both teams won the series as underdogs in the semifinal round.
The Timberwolves started at +200 on Fanatics against the Nuggets, but bettors quickly lowered those odds after dominating Minnesota to win the series.
Oklahoma City was a slight favorite to win the title over Denver, at -122 on FanDuel versus +100 for the Mavericks before the series.
The pair also saw their NBA Championship odds plummet before the first round after making key long shots.
Minnesota has dropped from an incredible +6600 to a finals win at BetMGM to +260. This is his second-best odds behind the championship favorite Boston Celtics (-150).
Dallas also made a big move, going from +1200 to +500, giving them the third-best odds, ahead of the Indiana Pacers, who are still a big long shot at +3000.
The Timberwolves won the four regular-season games 3-1, but Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving only took the court for one of those games and the Mavericks’ lone win of the series came on Jan. 7.
Doncic and Irving combined for 69 points in the game, outscoring the league’s best Minnesota defense in a seven-point victory.

So far, the betting world is pretty divided on who their favorite is in this series, but it’s the Mavs who are getting a little more support.
Dallas, looking to win the series, has won 56 percent of bets and 51.2 percent of handles on ESPNBET as of Tuesday afternoon.
But bettors are hoping for a long series – ESPN Bet reported that 4-2 for the Timberwolves is the most accurate bet of all time at the sportsbook.
