The U.S. State Department sent condolences ahead of the funeral and terrorist leader’s rally, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken defended it in response to Senate questions as “normal course of business.”
Asked by Breitbart News if Israel would also offer its condolences, Israeli government spokesman David Mensah said, “No, we do not offer our condolences.” He said the dictatorship led by Raisi was the only example of “Iran, a member of the United Nations, trying to destroy Israel, another member of the United Nations.”
He added that Israel does not share Blinken’s condolences.
“Not a single tear has been shed in Israel over the death of this tyrant. … Such false expressions of regret over what has happened to Iran’s leaders frankly infuriate us.”
