Charlamagne tha God tells Megyn Kelly his thoughts on Joe Biden

Charlaman the God told Megyn Kelly he’s “not a fan” of President Joe Biden, lamenting the lack of viable third-party options for Americans who plan to vote in this fall’s election.

Kelly invited the popular host of “The Breakfast Club” on his SiriusXM podcast Thursday to discuss his recent appearance on “The View,” where co-host Sunny Hostin wondered why he wouldn’t endorse the Democratic incumbent.

“I’m not a fan,” Charmagne told Kelly on Thursday’s show. “Some people say that if I don’t support it, that means I’m not going to vote, and I think that’s the weirdest thing ever.”

Charmagne, whose real name is Leonard McKelvey, told Kelly on Thursday that when he announced his support for a third-party candidate during an appearance on “The View,” host Whoopi Goldberg “told me she was going to punch me.”

“If you’re someone who simply chooses to be objective when our culture and society is in a situation where there are only two extremes, then why that bothers people, I don’t understand,” Charmagne said.

Charmagne told Kerry he had been “considering a third party” since 2016, when he became disillusioned with then-President Barack Obama.

“I don’t think the two-party system has been the best thing for America,” he added.

“I’m really shocked that a third-party candidate didn’t come forward and really inspire the nation. In particular, America seems very disappointed with the current options,” Sharlaman said.

The radio host, who airs on many stations across the country and is particularly popular with black listeners in the United States, said he is part of the “tired majority of people” who are “sick of politics.”

He said he was unimpressed with either Biden or former President Donald Trump and that both parties should “put up better candidates” to win voter support.

While criticizing Biden as “unattractive,” Charlaman called Trump a “threat to democracy” and told “The View” that “the choice is clear” when it comes to who to vote for in November.

Trump held a rally in the heavily Democratic Bronx on Thursday, where thousands of people in the majority-Hispanic borough cheered as the former president outlined his policies for a second term in office if he wins this fall’s election.

A recent New York Times/Siena poll found that Biden’s support is declining among minority voters, a key element of the Democratic coalition.

The survey found that Trump handily defeated Biden in five key battleground states, thanks to support from more than 20% of black voters.

Biden and Trump are also roughly tied among Hispanic voters and those ages 18 to 29, down sharply from the 60% that both groups gave Biden in 2020, according to the poll.

Trump’s penetration among non-white voters is likely the reason he has taken such large leads in key battleground states such as Arizona, Georgia and Nevada.
