A Florida State University freshman football player was jailed for three days after a violent pursuit with police.
Mihai Boileau, 18, was stopped by police Saturday night while driving north on Interstate 75 in Monroe County, Georgia, at 86 mph, the Monroe County Reporter reported, citing a police report.
But then the defensive lineman turns off the lights and goes 150 mph. Evading the police.

When police finally caught up with him, they found marijuana in his car.
He was charged with five counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer (a felony), obstructing a police officer, speeding, driving while license suspended or revoked and reckless driving, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office website.

Boileau enrolled at the University of Florida in January. He signed his National College Letter of intent in December, choosing the university over Georgia.
According to 247 Sports, Boileau originally committed to Florida last June, then rescinded his commitment in September and took an unofficial visit to Georgia five days later, but he stuck to his original commitment.
He attended Creekside High School in Hampton, Georgia, where he was recruited as a three-star player.
Gainesville Sun He noted that Boileau is the second Florida player to be arrested this week, following wide receiver Brian Greene Jr.’s arrest on a first-degree assault charge following an altercation with his girlfriend.

He also took unofficial visits to Georgia Tech and Maryland, but was also considering Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, Auburn and Texas A&M.
