Scottie Scheffler! The PGA Tour’s new bad boy!
It’s been a tough start to the Charles Schwab Challenge for the world’s number one ranked golfer. Scottie Schaefflerand his frustration with that was very evident on the 11th hole on Friday. (Related: Scottie Scheffler’s arrest case is taking a strange turn and I think it justifies my support for him)
to go into Round 2Scheffler was already two-over par and on the edge of what was expected to be the cut line. Scheffler hit a shot on the 11th hole that led to a PGA superstar putt… that went through the hole, but it was clearly too powerful and not precise enough. Scheffler (already frustrated) threw his putter in the air, flipped it over, then started complaining about the green.
“Oh man, don’t go on this green!” Scheffler said on live broadcast.

At this point, it’s hard to imagine anyone not liking Scottie Scheffler. His arrest and this putt flip have definitely cemented him as the new bad boy of the PGA Tour.
