An assailant entered a Massachusetts movie theater on Saturday and stabbed and injured four young girls.
The unidentified suspect entered one of the movie theaters around 6 p.m. on Saturday without paying admission and “suddenly, without a word or warning, attacked and stabbed four young women,” according to the Braintree Police Department in Massachusetts. release About that incident.
The girls, ages 9 to 17, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a Boston hospital, police said.
Police said the attack “appears to have been unprovoked.”

Authorities said the same suspect may have been involved in an earlier assault that occurred in Plymouth, Massachusetts, less than 30 miles from Braintree.
