Brexit activist Madeline Brame on Friday praised 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s “magical” rally in the South Bronx while slamming Democrats for “failing to capitalize” on the Black vote.
Brexit is an advocacy movement named after “Black Exit.” Founded in 2019 by Candace Owens and Brandon Tatum, the Brexit Foundation focuses on “shifting the culture” away from promoting a “victim mentality” among Black Americans through “grassroots organizing” and “educational initiatives,” the group says. Trump held his first New York rally since 2016 at Cortona Park on Thursday night, drawing enthusiastic supporters from the Democratic stronghold state. Brame, who attended Trump’s Bronx rally, told Fox News host Will Cain that Democrats are “misled” when it comes to supporting black voters.
“First, I am very troubled by the comments being made by elected officials who are paid with our tax dollars to the American people as a whole. They work for us, we don’t work for them. They are misinformed,” Brame said.
“What came out of the Bronx yesterday was mind-blowing,” she continued. “There was something supernatural about that whole experience. The energy in that park, people of all races, all creeds, all religions, coming together as one. We were happy. We were excited. It was magical.”
