As Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey’s wedding approaches, her loved ones toasted the bride-to-be this weekend.
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit member, 32, enjoyed a dreamy bridal shower in Malibu, where guests created their own bouquets at Olivia’s Bloom Bar and enjoyed meals against a beautiful outdoor backdrop, according to posts shared on social media.
Culpo was joined by friends and family, including her sisters Aurora and Sofia, for an intimate moment with her fiance, 27, who made a special appearance on the show.
“I adore @christianmccaffrey,” Culpo gushed in one Instagram post, fondly calling him her “hubby” in another.
First rumored to be dating in 2019, the 49ers star running back proposed to Culpo last April, gifting her with a beautiful oval-cut engagement ring by Ring Concierge with side stones.
McCaffrey proposed just months before the 2023 season, when the San Francisco 49ers finished the season 12-5 and advanced to the Super Bowl.
Speaking ahead of the championship game against the Chiefs in Las Vegas, the former first-round draft pick praised Culpo, who handled much of the wedding planning.
“She’s done a really great job,” McCaffrey told “Extra” in February.
“Right now, she’s really in charge of everything wedding-wise, but I do have input when I need it, but of course her style is incredible and I love whatever she wants, so it’s working out really well. I’m so grateful to have someone like her who not only supports me, but also handles all of that and allows me to do what I love right now while she works on her career.”
Culpo cheered for McCaffrey in the 2024 Super Bowl, but the 49ers lost 22-25 in overtime to the Chiefs.
In the weeks following the game, Culpo reflected on the season while also looking to the future.
“I thank God for a healthy season and for bringing my best friend into this world. Now let’s get married!” She posted on Instagram During February.
Earlier this month, Culpo told People magazine About the one thing she and McCaffrey won’t be doing on their big day.
“We definitely won’t do a first look, so he won’t notice me until I’m walking down the aisle. I don’t think that happens much these days.” She said.
McCaffrey is currently in his second full season with the 49ers.
The three-time Pro Bowl player began his career with the Panthers after being drafted eighth overall out of Stanford in 2017.
He was traded to the 49ers in October 2022.
