Johnny Wactor, a former star of the hit soap opera “General Hospital,” has died at age 37 after being shot in downtown Los Angeles during a suspected catalytic converter theft, according to multiple reports.

Wachter’s mother said he “didn’t resist or try to stop” but “the men shot him anyway before running away.”
Los Angeles Police said officers responded to a 911 call around 3:25 a.m. Saturday and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Wachter was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead at the medical center.
The fatal shooting is suspected to have occurred during the theft of catalytic converters.
Police said the suspects, whose names have not been released, remain at large.

He also appeared in popular TV shows such as “Westworld,” “NCIS” and “Criminal Minds.”
