RuPaul’s Drag Race Gottmik, a star who identifies as a man and cross-dresses as a woman on RuPaul’s show, recently showed off his double mastectomy surgery on the runway.
In a bizarre twist, Gottmik tried to draw more attention to her double mastectomy by adorning her scars with red Swarovski crystals to represent blood, and carried Swarovski crystals representing breasts in a clear bag.
“This look is something I’ve wanted for a long time because having top surgery completely changed my life,” Gottmik explained on Friday’s episode. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 9.

“I’ve had plastic surgery on my arms. People are rapping on me with scalpels. My blood is Swarovski crystals. I have a ponytail and I have a pair of Swarovski crystal boobs in my bag,” the drag queen added.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Gottmik called her style “art and fashion expressing things I never thought I’d be vulnerable enough to talk about, let alone wear on the @rupaulsdragrace runway.”
Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their shock and confusion.
“RuPaul’s Dougrace had Adaag Queen perform a double mastectomy. This is what RuPaul and Doug are promoting. Totally horrible,” wrote Libs, a popular TikTok X account.

“This is Gottmik (Cade Gottlieb) who is actually a ‘pansexual’ woman pretending to be a man (transgender) to make a career out of dressing as a ‘woman’. Someone please help me make sense,” another X user said. Reacted.

As Breitbart News reported, since the uproar over transgender issues took young Americans by storm, the number of people known as “detransitioners” has skyrocketed.

Canadian man Lois Cardinal asked to be euthanized last summer, saying he deeply regrets the surgery he underwent in 2009 to create an artificial vagina from an inverted penis and would rather die than endure the constant pain of the operation.
“I’m in constant discomfort and pain, and it’s taking a toll on me mentally,” Cardinal said. “I don’t want to continue living like this if I can’t get proper medical care.”
