NFL Kicker Brandon McManus Accused of Sexual Assault by Two Women on Jaguars Flight to London

Two female flight attendants who worked on the Jaguars’ flight to London in late September last year have accused former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus of sexual assault.

The two crew members were on board an Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings flight to London on September 28. Assert McManus, who now plays for the Commanders, lashed out at the women, who claim he was one of them and “smirked and walked away” when they confronted him.

According to ESPN, the women claim in the lawsuit that they suffered “severe mental distress, anxiety, psychological and emotional distress, embarrassment and humiliation.” The flight attendants are seeking more than $1 million in damages.

Neither the Jaguars nor McManus have publicly commented on the matter at this time.

However, Washington’s commanders issued a statement.

“We were informed today of a civil lawsuit filed on May 24th against Brandon McManus,” Commanders said. Said On Monday, the company released a statement saying it would not be commenting on the matter: “We take the allegations in this matter very seriously and are investigating. We have been in contact with league office and Brandon’s representatives and will not be making any further comment at this time.”

The lawsuit alleges that the Jaguars’ failure to supervise McManus created an unsafe environment.

The flight to London turned into a party-like atmosphere, with McManus reportedly “inviting three other flight attendants to join him in the party, handing out $100 bills and encouraging them to drink alcohol and dance inappropriately,” according to ESPN.

One accuser claims McManus tried to kiss her while they were seated, while the other alleges he assaulted her while he was serving dinner.

McManus is in his 11th season in the NFL and his first with the Commanders.
