Joe Rogan podcast guest Craig Jones brings $1 million cash to interview

Comedian Joe Rogan welcomed an Australian fighter onto his podcast after he dumped $1 million in cash on a table to promote an upcoming fighting tournament. Video Show.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter Craig Jones appeared on the hugely popular podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” this week and during the interview said he wanted to show future fighters that there is a prize money to be paid to the winner of the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational.

In this tournament they will face off against the international Abu Dhabi Combat Club. [ADCC] Submission Fighting World Championships — considered the most elite jiu-jitsu competition in the world, Jones has been there twice, winning numerous medals.

“You bring in a million dollars in cash and I’ve never seen that before. I’ve never seen a million dollars in one place, so you’re just going to have to throw it away,” Logan said as he removed some glasses from the table to make room on it during the interview.

With the cameras rolling, Jones reached over and pulled out a camouflage duffel bag and began tossing a stack of bills onto the table, many of which were loosely stacked or not stacked at all, Logan noted.

“Ladies and gentlemen, that’s a million dollars in cash. That’s crazy,” the comedian says with a laugh.

Jones is offering up to $1 million in prize money in two weight classes and one weight division above 170 pounds.

“So, this was the evidence. I had an idea. I was going to take Joe Rogan a million-dollar prop,” Jones told Rogan.

“But I guess they don’t believe I have the money anymore. So if I take out the prop million and you say, ‘Oh, that’s fake money,’ I’ll think, ‘Oh, my tournament sucks,'” he concluded.

Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) Website It describes the tournament, which will be held on August 16th and 17th, as a “non-profit organisation dedicated to improving sport and athlete compensation whilst raising funds for charitable causes”.
