Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s message praising pro-Hamas American university students who are protesting against Israel, welcoming them to the terrorist “resistance front” and encouraging them to “become familiar with the Quran” has sparked a wide range of reactions online.

The 85-year-old autocratic ruler, widely criticized for supporting terrorism, has a record of human rights violations, suppression of dissent and extremist policies that have brought widespread suffering and repression among the Iranian people.

In the letter, Khamenei praises those he supports while subverting the narrative by labeling innocent defenders as terrorists, and distorting historical events to fit his extreme ideological views.
Khamenei expressed “sympathy and solidarity” with the pro-Hamas students, claiming they were on the “right side” of history. teeth “Resistance Front Branch”
The “resistance front” refers to a loose alliance of Iranian-backed terrorist groups and militias across the Middle East, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and Hamas, all of which oppose Western influence and seek to destroy Israel and kill U.S. troops.

And while he makes it clear that the goal of the struggle for the Palestinian people is to end the oppression perpetrated by the “brutal Zionist terrorist network,” he makes no mention of the Arab terrorism that has been perpetrated against the Jewish community since before the establishment of the Jewish state.
The ayatollah accused the “global Zionist elite” who own or influence most US and European media companies of “calling brave and humane resistance ‘terrorism.'”
“I am one of those who sympathize with you young people and admire your perseverance,” he wrote, citing the Quranic teachings on upholding justice and refraining from oppression.

Before the massacre, on the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on U.S. soil by Islamic terrorists, Khamenei Celebrated In a speech in Tehran, he called for an end to “American arrogant power.”

Last month, he praised pro-Palestinian protests on US university campuses, particularly the slogan “No to Israel and America,” and portrayed the violent demonstrations across the country as a victory for Islamic regimes over “false” Western democracies.
