Actor Nick Pascual, who was charged with attempted murder for stabbing his ex-girlfriend 20 times, was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
The 34-year-old actor is said to have broken into the Sunland, California, home of his ex-girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Ally Shehorn, and stabbed her multiple times. report by New York Post.
Following the stabbing, Pascual was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border crossing in Sierra Blanca, Texas, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Shehoon said, Means Girls and Rebel Moonwas reportedly found by surrogate mother Christine White with slashes around her neck, arms and abdomen.
“It was an ugly sight,” White said. Said KTLA. “This is something that should never happen to anyone. You think it’ll never happen to you.”
According to a press release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Pascual was charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree burglary and one count of assault with intent to commit assault on a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or parent of a child.
The actor has played several small roles in films and television shows. Rebel Moon, how i met your motherand Archive 81 — is accused of “inflicting serious bodily injury on a victim in a domestic violence situation” and could face up to life in prison if convicted.
Shehorn filed for a restraining order against Pascual days before the attack, the suit said. ReportsBy t Daily Mail.
The restraining order accuses the actor of assaulting her on at least four occasions, including incidents in which Pascual allegedly used a belt, broke down a door, left Shehorn with a concussion, and raped and choked her.
Shehoon was rushed to hospital and reportedly admitted to the intensive care unit in serious condition, after which he underwent multiple surgeries and was released from intensive care on Tuesday.
