A man was stabbed in both legs with a machete in New York’s Times Square on Thursday afternoon and was rushed to hospital, police said.
According to the NYPD, the stabbing happened around 1 p.m. on West 45th Street and Broadway.
The unidentified male victim was stabbed in both legs and taken to Bellevue Hospital.
The victim’s condition is said to be stable.

Police said the three suspects fled the scene.

An NYPD spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the three men were subsequently detained by police and questioned, but no charges have yet been filed.
