A jury in a New York criminal trial found former President Donald Trump guilty of all charges. The verdict came in the middle of the 2024 presidential election cycle. Trump, a leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, is running to defeat Democrat President Joe Biden.
Conservatives have voiced criticism of the ruling on social media.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who dropped out of the Republican presidential primary and endorsed Trump after coming in second in the Iowa caucuses in January, spoke of the “political corruption of our justice system.”

Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene share X’s post featured an upside-down American flag.
