Following the verdict, President Trump warned that “the real verdict will be handed down by the American people on November 5th.”
“This is a disgrace, an attempt by the Biden Administration to hurt a political opponent,” Trump said, explaining, “A fraudulent decision was made from day one, made by a conflicted-interest judge who should never have been allowed to try this case.”
“We will keep fighting, we will keep fighting to the end, and we will win, because our country has gone to hell,” he continued.
“Our country is in decline. Serious decline,” Trump added. “Right now we have millions of people coming into our country from prisons and mental hospitals, terrorists trying to take over our country. We have a big problem.”
Trump is scheduled to be sentenced in New York on July 11, four days before the start of the Republican National Convention, which will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where delegates will vote for Trump as the presidential candidate.
