Trump Arrives at UFC 302 to ‘Thunderous Applause’ Days After Conviction

Former President Donald Trump arrived to “thunderous applause” from the crowd at UFC 302 in Newark, New Jersey, days after the guilty verdict.

The unanimous applause Trump received from the crowd came while he was attending an event in the heavily Democratic state of New Jersey.

More than 100,000 people were reported to have attended a Trump rally in the seaside town of Wildwood, New Jersey, in earlier May.

Poll conducted by Emerson College Poll/PIX11/the hill A March poll found Trump trailing President Joe Biden by single digits in New Jersey, with 46% of those surveyed saying they would vote for Biden and 39% saying they would vote for Trump.

“I’m going to be campaigning heavily in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, New Mexico and Minnesota, a state I haven’t won in years,” Trump said in a January interview with Breitbart News.
