Carter was criticized for a hard shoulder-check foul on Clark during the Fever’s game against the Liberty on Saturday and refused to address the issue in his post-game press conference.

However, in a post on the thread, she attacked Clark and questioned the WNBA superstar’s skills.

In response to a post of Angel Reese celebrating with Carter after being fouled, Carter wrote in the thread.“My best friend caught all of his teammates.”

Carter also took the time to repost and respond to people defending her actions in court during her altercation with Clark.

Carter shoulder-checked Clark away from the ball before inbounding, sending the Fever star to the ground, and Clark appeared to have something to say to Carter after a tough battle for the rebound on the other side before being shoved away.

On Sunday, the WNBA upgraded the foul to Flagrant I after the league reviewed the play.

In X’s postCarter criticized those who wanted some kind of enforcer-type player on the court to protect Clark.

“We’ve grown so much and yet everyone is telling the enforcer guy to get out and play basketball or shut up,” she wrote.

Former NBA player Matt Barnes criticized Clark’s teammates for not appearing to support her in numerous instances where opposing teams took liberties with the former University of Iowa star.

“Where are her teammates? Where are you guys? Where are the rest of the Indiana Fever?” Barnes asked in an Instagram post.

Clark was limited to just three points in the Fever’s game against the Liberty at Barclays Center on Sunday.
