Wings vs. Fever: Ways to watch Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark without paying

The Dallas Wings are set to play the Indiana Fever in the 2026 season opener, featuring the last four No. 1 overall picks in the WNBA Draft.

Caitlin Clark, the Fever’s point guard and the first overall pick in 2024, is healthy after recovering from an injury that kept her sidelined for most of last season. The Fever also made headlines by securing a historic contract extension for Aaliyah Boston, the 2023 No. 1 pick, and re-signing Sophie Cunningham for another year.

This season marks the second for Paige Bueckers, the reigning Rookie of the Year, who plays for the Dallas Wings alongside her partner, Aj Fuad, the recent 2026 No. 1 overall draft pick and a former teammate at UW.

Last season, the two players faced off just once due to Clark’s injury, where she recorded 14 points and 13 assists in a 102-83 win for Indiana. Bueckers, on the other hand, led all scorers with 21 points in that game.

Bueckers shared her thoughts before the game, stating, “Kaitlyn and I have been in competition for quite some time. I believe that the best way to honor that is through competition and pushing each other to be better. I feel we do that well.”

In a recent preseason match on April 30, the Wings beat the Fever 95-80, but the main players from both sides didn’t participate in the last quarter.
