Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters stormed Philadelphia’s Gay Pride Parade on Sunday, disrupting the celebratory march.
According to the video, hundreds of LGBTQ+ participants were met by political protesters at the parade’s end in the City of Brotherly Love, chanting anti-Israel slogans, “Palestine will live forever! From the sea to the river!” Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec posted on X.
The confrontation took place at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Locust Street after the Philadelphia Pride March and Festival began at about 10:30 a.m. in Washington Square and made its way to the city’s gay bar district.
At one point, the anti-Israel crowd chanted “PPP, KKK, IOF are all the same!” as police surrounded them on one side of the intersection while Pride marchers looked on with confused and dejected expressions. According to another video posted to X at 12:20 p.m..
It was not immediately clear if the “PPP” chant referred to the Philadelphia Pride Parade, but “KKK” and “IOF” were apparent references to the Ku Klux Klan and the Israeli Occupation Forces.
The video shows some protesters from anti-Israel groups holding rainbow flags with the words “Do not be proud of genocide” inscribed on them.
Footage showed some protesters wearing Palestinian-style keffiyeh scarves on their heads, while others held white sheets stuffed with stuffing to make it look like a dead child was wrapped in a shroud.
Meanwhile, in New York City, a masked crazed man threatened marchers at the Israel Day Parade in Manhattan, carrying an anti-Semitic sign that read, “Kill the hostages now.”

Anti-Semitism has been on the rise across Israel since the October 7 attacks by Hamas, a terrorist group that has killed more than 1,200 people and taken 250 hostages, many of whom remain in the group’s custody.
Israel has since been embroiled in a war with Hamas and launched a counter-offensive in the Gaza Strip, killing thousands of Palestinians and displacing many more.
