Canadian horror story.
Toronto restaurant Manita slammed actor Zachary Quinto in an Instagram Story on Saturday, saying the actor had behaved “like a spoiled child” inside the restaurant.
In a lengthy rant, the restaurant called him a “great Spock, but a terrible customer.”
“[He] “He yelled at staff because they didn’t reply to two text messages informing him that his table was ready and refused to believe that the available table in the dining room wasn’t available for him, despite him politely informing them that it was reserved,” the post said.
The former “American Horror Story” star, 47, said: [a] The host shouts and the rest [their] Brunch guests will be uncomfortable.”
The social media statement concluded: “Mr Quinto, please take your bad vibes elsewhere. There are many lovely celebrities in Manita and you are not one of them.”
A representative for Quinto has not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
The Emmy nominee is apparently in Canada celebrating his 47th birthday, with Quinto documenting the trip on Instagram over the weekend.
He shared multiple photos from his “incredible birthday adventure” at Canada’s Wonderland, as well as a shot of himself enjoying some cake.
Quinto is best known for playing Spock in the “Star Trek” series and starring in three seasons of “American Horror Story.”
The producer has been open about his struggles with substance abuse for years. Recognized by the 2019 panel After achieving “some success” in his career, he “began drinking problematically.”
He added: “I wasn’t much of a party person and I didn’t have my first drink until I was 17 or 18, and I smoked marijuana around the same age. I think it was relatively normal to do that sort of thing in your 20s.”
But in his 30s, Quinto changed his habits and said he found himself “miserable”. “I didn’t lose everything, I didn’t destroy any relationships, I just hit rock bottom, but one day I just thought ‘I can’t do this anymore'”.
In May 2020, he celebrated four years of sobriety.
“I’m grateful today,” Quinto gushed to his Instagram followers at the time, posting a now-deleted sun-kissed selfie.
