Kris Jenner has revealed the final conversation she had with Nicole Brown Simpson before her death at the age of 35.
The 68-year-old matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan spoke about her final words with O.J. Simpson’s late ex-wife in the Lifetime documentary “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” which aired on June 2.
The reality TV star revealed that she and Nicole were in the midst of helping longtime friend Faye Resnick deal with her substance abuse issues.
In the teaser, Resnick, who remained close friends with Jenner for many years, revealed that her illness had recurred two days before Nicole’s death.
“She loved me,” Resnick said of Nicole, adding that she had put her in rehab. “She wanted me to be healthy.”
Jenner, 68, recalled that she and Nicole were visiting Resnick while he was in rehab.
“Nicole said, ‘OK, let’s go see Faye and make sure someone is with her every day,'” the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast member said.
“So she set up our schedule,” the mother of six recalled. “It was Nicole’s day, and Nicole and I talked, and she was like, ‘No, Faye’s a good day. I’m going home. Your day is tomorrow.'”
“That was the last time I spoke to her,” “Mamaja” added.
Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered on June 12, 1994. Nicole was 35 and Goldman was just 25 at the time of the murders.
Brown had repeatedly called police on O.J. Simpson, her husband from 1985 to 1992.
“When you lose a friend like that, you never get over it,” Jenner said in the documentary, “and I think you kind of shove it deep inside, you know? It’s been 30 years.”
“It’s one of the worst days I’ve ever experienced,” she added.
This isn’t the first time Jenner has spoken out about the death of a close friend.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star’s ex-husband, Robert Kardashian Sr., served as one of six defense attorneys for the late NFL star in his highly publicized 1995 trial.
The couple’s four children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert Kardashian Jr., were also close friends with the Simpsons. Calling former athletes “Uncle O.J.” And Jenner’s friends called her “Auntie Nicole.”
