In a new interview, President Biden said several international leaders have told him they cannot allow Republican front-runner Donald Trump to win the 2024 presidential election.

“I’ve never been to a major international conference – and I’ve been to more of them in the last three and a half years – that a world leader hasn’t called me in before the conference was over and said, ‘He can’t beat him. We can’t let him win,'” Biden said, after recounting his first attendance at the G7 summit as president.

In an interview Time Magazine, Biden said he told the seven leaders at the 2021 summit that the US was “back”, to which French President Emmanuel Macron responded by asking “for how long?”

The president also said other leaders had questioned how the U.S. would respond if something similar to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol were to happen in London.

Biden again slammed Trump that day in 2021 for what he called a dereliction of duty.

“And for him to sit in this room and watch TV for three hours and do nothing, it really brought home to me how fundamentally that said something about America and how much faith people have lost in America,” Biden said.

He argued that American democracy and democracies around the world are “in danger.”

“So then, as a world leader, [Viktor] Orbán and [Vladimir] “President Putin believes that Trump should be the world leader of the United States,” he said.

According to a transcript of Biden’s interview reported by the outlet, Biden’s response was ended by White House communications director Ben LaBolt saying, “We have no choice but to end it here.”

Biden is said to be finalizing plans to restrict immigration as part of a crackdown on the US-Mexico border.

Biden said he plans to finish what he started if he beats Trump in November.

“The decisions we take over the past few years and over the next four will determine the future of Europe for a long time to come. That is why Can not “Instead of letting NATO fail, we have to build NATO politically, economically, and militarily, we are investing heavily in NATO,” the president told Time magazine.

He also China’s strength and power.

“Name me. Would you trade places with Xi Jinping and any other country? I’m not kidding. I’m serious, it’s a rhetorical question. But would you? Your population is much older than the majority of young people in Europe, too old to work. And they’re xenophobic. Where is that coming from? Where are you going to grow? Your economy is in crisis. The idea that their economy is booming? Give me a break,” Biden said.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.
