During his performance at the 2024 Roots Picnic music festival over the weekend, rapper Sexy Redd revealed a giant red hat onstage that read “Make America Sexy Again,” inspired by former President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Video footage of MAGA-inspired hats being worn at a Sexy Red concert has surfaced on social media.

The rapper’s MAGA hat-themed display received mixed reactions from fans.
“Supporting Trump? Am I crazy?” commented one Instagram user, while another simply wrote, “Sick of her.”
“So you’re voting for Biden? Don’t you understand the economy right now? Trump warned us this would happen. Biden is too old to hear what they’re saying,” a third said.
“This is clearly saying ‘Make America Sexy Again!'” declared another Instagram user.
“What does it matter if she supports Trump? Everyone has their own opinion,” producer Sony Digital wrote.
“And…what’s wrong with Trump2024!” commented actor Ginello Bonner.
“Sexy is a great representation of BLK culture. Black excellence at its finest,” another user commented.
“Why are we silent? She’s been a Trump supporter all this time,” another pointed out.
Sexy Red suggested to X on Monday that she won’t support anyone else in the 2024 presidential election but him.
“Sexy Red for president,” the rapper wrote. “I am my own candidate and am not endorsing anyone.”

However, Sexy Red has previously voiced her support for Trump.
The “Pound Town” rapper argued that black people, especially those living in poor communities, love the 45th president, Breitbart News reported.
“I love Trump,” Sexy Red told comedian and podcaster Theo Vuong in October. “They support him. I don’t think people were making fun of him at first because they all thought he was a racist.”

“But then he started getting black people out of jail and giving people free money, and we loved Trump. We want him back as president,” the rapper continued. “We want him back.”
“We miss you, Mr. Trump,” she added. “But I love Mr. Trump. He’s a funny guy to me. I was watching his interviews. It’s funny to see him talk to people. We need people like him.”
