The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has finally added an exhibit celebrating the men who shaped Hollywood, but most of it is degrading to them.
When the Academy Museum first opened in 2021, the $484 million institution, run by the same left-wing lunatics currently running the Oscars into a quagmire, refused to include any acknowledgement of Hollywood, the film industry, and the very people who created the art of cinema.

The exhibition also includes works from the early 20th century. [b]Oscar Micheaux (1884-1951), a pioneer in cinema who made powerful films for black audiences; Asian martial arts legend Bruce Lee; Latina director Patricia Cardoso, who made the inspiring 2002 film “Real Women Have Curves,” about Latina women in East Los Angeles; and Spike Lee, a black filmmaker who has provided brilliant social critiques in his films for three decades.
But among the myriad exhibits on display across all seven floors, there was nothing relating to Adolph Zukor, William Fox, Carl Laemmle, Harry Cohn, Samuel Goldwyn, Louis B. Mayer, Jesse Lasky, Jack (pictured above) and Harry Warner.

Imagine a museum dedicated to the history of flight without Orville and Wilbur Wright.
Imagine a museum dedicated to the light bulb without Thomas Edison.
That’s what the woke lunatics did.
Three years later, and after numerous complaints, the Academy Museum has finally added an exhibit honoring these men…
Most of the exhibition space is Words like “Spartan,” “nepotistic,” “harmful,” “womanizing,” “oppressive,” “rude,” “tyrannical,” “cynical,” “glorified,” “predatory.”

The 1927 film “The Jazz Singer,” starring Al Jolson, is notable for being the first film released with synchronized sound, but a brief review points out that the film’s “blackface perpetuates a century-long tradition in the United States of caricaturing and dehumanizing black people.” [b]There aren’t enough people.”
Several people, including showrunner Marty Kaplan, wrote letters of complaint to the museum. “I believe there is a degree of anti-Semitism, whether conscious or not, but there is also presentism,” Kaplan said. “Some of it is valid, but the double standards and lack of context have infuriated many of us. … This exhibit [of Hollywood’s founders] “The first part depicts the villains. All the other parts of the museum depict the victims.”

This is a perfect example of the left eating itself alive. The Academy Museum is part of the Motion Picture Academy and is run by people who cater to the industry.
What did Hollywood expect when it appointed a fascist woman like Jacqueline Stewart to head a museum? Gone with the Wind Does that tell us how we should think about it?
In other words, they appointed a woman who has no respect for art as museum director. Anyone who demands that art be interpreted in a certain way should stay away from museums.

Were the men who created Hollywood perfect? Who cares? What does it have to do with anything? What does it have to do with their accomplishments, their art, the incredible impact they had on our culture and the world?
And we all know why this is happening: The founding fathers of Hollywood, in a culture where woke Nazis hold power, were convicted in absentia of three unforgivable crimes: they are 1) male, 2) white, and 3) Jewish.
Imagine a civil rights museum with exhibits focused solely on Martin Luther King’s sexual infidelity, Ghandi’s racism, and John F. Kennedy’s prostitution.
Imagine a World War II museum where the exhibits about President Franklin D. Roosevelt focus solely on his mistress and the internment of Japanese citizens.
It is this.
This is also the result of Hollywood’s vote.
