Appearing on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) accused Hunter Biden of lying to Congress.
The Kentucky Republican said Biden lied to protect his father, President Joe Biden.
“Congressman, what specifically would you say about viewers accusing Hunter and James Biden of lying?” host Laura Ingraham asked.
“Well, Hunter Biden committed perjury,” Comer responded. “He lied in these criminal indictments. We backed him up with 60 pages of hard evidence. And if you look at the statements of Hunter Biden’s lawyers and the Democrats in Congress, nobody disputes that they lied. So it’s very serious that he lied to Congress about what Hunter Biden lied about. Number one, he lied about having some kind of connection to one of those LLCs, Rosemont Seneca Bohai, which is the company through which most of his Ukrainian money flowed, and also the company through which his Kazakhstan money flowed, which Joe Biden got his brand new Porsche through when he was vice president.”
“He also lied about WhatsApp messages he received from Mr Zhao,” he continued. “He said it was a different Mr Zhao, but the evidence we have presented shows that this text messaging continued over an extended period of time, with him receiving $100,000 the next day and $5 million a few days later. This is the WhatsApp message in which he says my father was sitting next to me when he was extorting money from the Chinese.”
“So, Laura, why did Hunter Biden lie about it?” Comer added. “Because he was protecting Joe Biden, who was the center of the family’s influence ring. Jim Biden was arrested for lying about meeting with Tony Bobulinski. He said under oath that he never met with Bobulinski. Bobulinski said under oath that he did and provided text messages to prove that he did. And Hunter Biden testified under oath that Tony Bobulinski met with Joe Biden. So Jim Biden and Hunter Biden were arrested for lying on both counts. They lied to protect the big guy, Joe Biden.”
