Superstar rapper Drake made two $500,000 bets, one on the Mavericks to win the NBA Finals at odds of 2.75deg (+175 US) and one on the Oilers to win at odds of 2.05deg (+105 US).
If the Oilers win the Cup, Drake will earn $525,000, but if the Celtics fail to win again in 2024, the Mavericks will receive $875,000.

Drake is widely known for the “Drake Curse”, which has seen many of the teams and individuals he roots for lose.
One example was when Drake made his entrance alongside Conor McGregor draped in the Irish flag before his loss to unbeaten Russian champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Drake has lost $2 million in 2022, losing $565,000 last month alone betting on favorite Tyson Fury, who lost to Oleksandr Usyk.
He also lost a $500,000 bet to Israel Adesanya over his fight against Shawn Strickland.
The music mogul was accused of having a gambling problem amid a bitter feud with rap great Kendrick Lamar.
Known for his Canadian origins, Drake was a key voice for the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals.
Naturally, Drake is hoping Edmonton becomes the first Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup since 1993, when the Oilers and Panthers face off.
