Lunden Roberts, a former stripper and Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriend, said in an interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday that President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden have yet to meet their 5-year-old granddaughter.
Roberts, 33, who is soon to publish a book, told Morgan that she had suicidal thoughts after learning she was pregnant with Hunter Biden’s child, calling the pregnancy “one of the loneliest periods of my life” because their “months-long” relationship ended the moment she told him she was pregnant.
“I went through a pretty dark period emotionally and mentally around that time,” Roberts said. according to To New York Post, addition:
I knew that I wasn’t going to do anything to myself while I was pregnant because it would be harmful to my child. So I wasn’t going to do anything to myself while I was pregnant. But after I was pregnant, I felt like would it be better for my daughter and Hunter and everybody else if I wasn’t here? Because it would have been like a scandal and what I felt at the time was a burden.
She recalled being hurt when she read it in 2019. New Yorker The profile stated that Hunter had denied ever having sex with her. “I remember just reading that and being speechless,” she said.
Roberts met Biden while working as a stripper under the stage name “Dallas” at the DC gentlemen’s club Mpire.
She had been an employee of Hunter’s company for nine months, during which time he was in a relationship with his late brother’s widow, Harry, and suffered from a serious crack cocaine addiction.
“He had the devil on his back,” she told Morgan. post“He was obviously struggling with drug addiction at the time, but he caught my attention. I was intrigued.”
She said Navy and Hunter have had Zoom meetings but have yet to meet in person, but that Navy is “very aware” of how busy Hunter’s father is.
“She’s been waiting five years. She can wait a few more months,” she said of reuniting with her father.
Hunter is currently on trial on three felony charges related to failing to disclose he was using illegal drugs when purchasing the gun and illegally possessing the gun for 11 days until Hallie Biden discovered it and threw it in a trash can outside a grocery store.
Roberts said he hopes Hunter doesn’t go to prison and that President Joe Biden would grant him a pardon if he does.
“Hunter has always been one of those guys that I feel has had great potential and is a great guy to get to know,” Roberts said. “I always hoped that those demons and addiction wouldn’t just drag him down, because I saw it’s claws into him. I always hoped that he was getting help.”
Biden initially refused to acknowledge Navy as his daughter but later settled a child support lawsuit with Roberts. It was only last year that President Biden publicly acknowledged Navy’s existence.
