Jaylen Brown added another one to his highlight tape.
The Celtics star brought the home crowd at TD Garden to its feet with a dunk over the head of the Mavericks’ Daniel Gafford in one of the highlights of Boston’s 107-89 win in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
With just under 10 minutes left in the first half, Brown dribbled the ball on the offensive end of the court, got a screen and quickly dribbled past Luka Doncic and into the paint.
He leapt over a jumping Kyrie Irving and dropped the hammer on Gafford’s head after he failed to block.

“Brown goes inside. Big dunk by Jaylen Brown!” ESPN play-by-play announcer Mike Breen said on the play-by-play.
It was part of a great night for Brown, who finished with 22 points, six rebounds, three steals and three blocks, including an impressive rejection of Irving in the third quarter that got the Boston fans fired up again.
Game 2 will be Sunday in Boston at 8 p.m.
