Comedian Rob Schneider was escorted off stage at the Four Seasons Ball on Saturday for being too vulgar onstage.
The annual gala is a fundraiser for the Regina Hospital Foundation, and offended attendees felt his comments were inappropriate for an event supporting the hospital, the statement said. The Hollywood ReporterAccording to The Hollywood Reporter, a representative from the Regina Hospital Foundation asked Schneider to leave the stage, and he quickly complied.
The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member was scheduled to perform the entire series that night, but it was reported that his politically-charged comedy material did not resonate with attendees or fit with the overall tone the foundation was setting for the evening.
Schneider has reportedly made harsh comments about vaccines, women and transgender people. The Daily Beast.
Regina Leader Post The foundation reported that he was “booed” throughout his performance. “We do not condone, accept, support or share the positions expressed by Mr. Schneider during his comedy routine and acknowledge that this performance did not meet the expectations of the audience and his team,” the foundation said in a statement. “Shortly afterwards we offered our unreserved apologies to our customers and the local community,” they said.

“Everybody in the room was groaning and saying, ‘What’s going on?’ It was like they were talking to themselves. Sometimes there was no laughter at all,” attendee Tynan Allan told CBC.
“It was very clear how uncomfortable everyone felt and how unacceptable what he was saying was,” he noted.
The private event is sold out.
