A Massachusetts high school student who was beaten and forced to lick a bathroom floor by another female student has been found safe and sound after going missing for several days after a video of the shocking incident went viral online.

Police were notified after a school security guard discovered the video on May 25, but no one notified Conton’s parents about the incident until he disappeared eight days later on June 2. The Daily Mail reported..
The video begins with Konton standing in a school hallway, facing the 13-year-old bully as a group of students look on. The bully then slaps Konton before being taken away by another student.
The video then cuts to the school bathroom, where the suspect is seen entering the bathroom, pulling Conton by her hair as she screams.
Ms. Conton was thrown by her hair near a toilet stall, where the bullies punched her repeatedly until she began crying. Ms. Conton raised her arms to deflect the blows but otherwise did not fight back.
The bully then points to the floor near the trash can.
“Lick the ground,” she ordered, and when Conton hesitated he slapped her again, again dragging her by her hair and forcing her face into the floor.
Police began searching for Conton eight days after she was discovered missing from her Mashpee home, and her parents finally learned about the brutal attack and how it was spread via video on social media.
“It’s awful to find out about this horrific incident not from the school but a week later on Facebook,” Jessica Valois said. wrote under the department post About a teenager who was missing at the time.

Residents of the small town organized a small search party, and Conton was found last Wednesday in nearby Barnstable and returned home.

The unidentified 13-year-old girl is currently charged with seven counts of assault and battery in the juvenile division of Falmouth District Court.
Police said Wednesday that a search for “possible accomplices” was ongoing.
