NBA star believes Caitlin Clark could score in the league, talks trans women in female sports

The Caitlin Clark story was all over the NBA last week, with Commissioner Adam Silver weighing in on her popularity and the hard foul she received from Chicago Sky players.

Denver Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. also made headlines last month when he made comments about which WNBA players had the potential to score against WNBA players.

He named him Clark.

“She’s cold. I hadn’t seen her play until this tournament and I was really blown away by how good she was,” Porter said. “Full Send Podcast” “The way she is and the range she has, she’s like a female Stephen Curry.”

“Kaitlyn is calm. If she plays an NBA game, she’s going to get beat up defensively, but on offense she’s going to make corner 3-pointers and swing, swing 3-pointers. She can shoot from that far away.”

“Most women can’t compete with men, and I don’t think men should be allowed to transition and hang out with women. That whole conversation pisses me off.”

Porter laughed when asked if Angel Reese could score on him.

Video of Porter’s comments went viral after Clark was removed from the U.S. Olympic team and he was on the receiving end of a hard foul from Chennedy Carter.

Clark has since made seven 3-pointers in a single game and become the fastest player to reach 200 points and 50 assists in her WNBA career.
