James Biden attended Hunter Biden’s gun trial in Wilmington, Delaware on Monday.

Both Hunter and James Biden were criminally charged by the Department of Justice last week for allegedly lying to Congress about their family businesses.

James was joined at the courthouse by first ladies Jill Biden and Valerie Biden Owens, according to a court reporter. Brian McGlinchey, a longtime friend of the family, was also in attendance.
The defense is expected to finish testimony and begin closing arguments Monday.

Hunter is charged with one count of making a false statement regarding the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful user or addict of a controlled substance, and one count of making a false statement regarding information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer.
Hunter was found dumped in a public trash bin next to a school when he bought the gun, and various photos on his abandoned laptop suggested he was using crack cocaine at the time. The Secret Service is said to have been involved in the investigation.
If convicted on all charges, Hunter face He faces up to 25 years in prison and a $750,000 fine, according to court documents.
