Jason Whitlock’s “Fearless Military Roll Call 2.0” event, Glenn Beck He gave a speech that was teary-eyed and sent shivers down my spine.
As our country teeters on the brink of catastrophe, we want to know what we can do to change course and return America to its former beacon of hope.
Glenn’s decision was simple: “Surrender yourself to Jesus Christ.”
This will not only save our country, but it will also save individual lives and break a harmful intergenerational cycle.
Glenn shared a bit of his tragic past and revealed that it was only the power of Christ that transformed his life, which was marked by alcoholism, suicide and child abuse, into the one we see today.
Similarly, Christ is the only answer to America’s obvious problems.
“Commit yourself to Jesus Christ,” Glenn said. Fearless The audience said, “That’s what our country needs to do.”
But besides Jesus, there’s another man the men of this country should emulate, and he’s someone who, according to Glenn, is spotless.
“I can find something bad about anyone,” he said, “but [George] “Washington.”
Washington is another truth Glenn explained that the heroes didn’t seek fame or glory: in fact, “all the men wanted was to be farmers at Mount Vernon.”
Yet despite his wishes, America’s first president was destined to achieve a level of greatness few have since achieved.
What makes Washington different? According to Glenn, there are two things:
“He wanted to discover what it meant to be a good man” and “devote his life to service,” he explained, sharing lesser-known details about Washington’s life, his first book (written at age 8), his insecurities, his alleged obsession with ice cream, and above all, examples of his character.
“if [Washington] Without the honor he built from his childhood onwards, we wouldn’t exist.”
According to Glenn, if we don’t do something about the current state of godless America, our future may not exist.
“We are not going to get through this coming New Year unless we stand up men of God and men of peace, men who understand the full armor of God,” he told the audience.
Whether people see it or not, America is already at war. But to win this war, we need a different kind of weapon. [God’s] the truth, the word of God.”
“Why do you think they’re silencing everyone?” Glenn asked. “They’re afraid of the truth.”
