Trans Medicine Whistleblower Speaks Out Against DOJ’s Felony Charges, Says Hospital Was ‘Lying To The Public’

Transgender healthcare whistleblower Dr. Eisan Haim slammed the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Fox News on Monday after being indicted on four felony counts for speaking out against his own hospital.

Haim appeared on “The Ingram Angle” to discuss charges filed against him by the Department of Justice after he leaked documents to journalist Christopher Ruffo in May 2023 showing that Texas Children’s Hospital continued to operate a child gender clinic in violation of state law after it claimed to be closing it. according to Speaking to Fox News, Fox host Laura Ingraham asked Haim last week about his reaction to the new charges being filed. “Let me be clear about one thing: the hospital announced in March 2022 that it was discontinuing the program due to potential criminal charges,” Heim said. “This is [Texas Attorney General] “A few weeks ago, Dr. Ken Paxton said it was possible it would be investigated as child abuse, meaning they were giving the public all the signs to shut down the program. But I worked there and performed surgery there, and I knew that was absolutely not true.”

“Not only did they continue the program, they expanded it behind closed doors,” he continued. “Especially as physicians, trust is the most important currency we have. The fact that they lied to the public is a flagrant violation of medical ethics, especially at Texas Children’s Hospital, which is an otherwise great hospital. [is] “This is one of the best places in the world to be if you have a seriously ill child, but they were telling outrageous lies. Within 24 hours of me blowing the whistle, the practices we exposed were made illegal in a bill passed by the Texas Senate with bipartisan support.”

Ingram later said the state appeared to be concerned about “political backlash” and noted that it costs hospitals “enormous amounts of money” to perform sex-reassignment surgeries.

“These procedures cost an astounding amount of money because just imagine what would happen if you gave a vulnerable, confused 11-year-old child puberty suppressants – they would become effectively infertile. And 95-98% of men are given cross-sex hormones. [get] “Then it’s surgery. We’ve created patients with chronic diseases who will be confined to the confines of the hospital for the rest of their lives. It’s an unimaginable fate. These are otherwise healthy children,” Heim said.

“I remember when I was there, we operated on children with diseases like cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy. [and] “It’s Crohn’s,” he continued, “and all they want is to live a normal life. When they come out of the operating room, when they wake up from the anesthesia, they’re fine, they’re not under the influence of the drugs, and they say they just want to be normal. They just want to live a normal life. They have a diseased body, and, you know, we have to operate on them. But in this case, they’re taking healthy kids and putting them on this path.”

According to Fox News, Heim, who completed his residency at Texas Children’s Hospital, was indicted on four counts by the Department of Justice on June 6 for violating HIPAA regulations. However, Rufo claimed that the documents provided by Heim did not contain personal information about patients at the hospital, the outlet reported.

After the indictment, Heim’s lawyer, Marcella Burke, told Fox News Digital: “My client is eager to present his side of the story at trial and I am confident this will result in a just verdict.”
