Canada’s largest cancer charity has apologised to the transgender community for using the word “cervix” instead of “foramen” to refer to the female reproductive organs.
The Canadian Cancer Society has received backlash after lamenting the “significant barriers” “transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people” supposedly face in getting screened for cervical cancer, including the dreaded correct medical terminology.
“We recognize that many trans men and non-binary people may have mixed feelings about or feel distant from a term like ‘cervix’ and may prefer other terms, such as ‘front hole,'” the group said in a statement. “Another reason for using words like ‘cervix’ is to normalize the reality that men can also have these body parts,” the association added.

Men, regardless of how they identify, cannot get cervical cancer because they do not have a cervix. Everyone diagnosed with cervical cancer is biologically female.
The Canadian Cancer Society is encouraging “trans men or non-binary people who were assigned female at birth” to get screened for “frontal cavity” cancer, leaving many biological women confused and upset.

Radio host Dana Loesch was confused by the term “front hall.”
“This seems stupid,” said the conservative personality. “It looks… confusing. Do you know how many holes there are in the front?”
“Do you see how that undermines the advocacy that they claim to be doing?” she continued. “Not only do men not have cervixes, but men don’t get cervical cancer.”

The People’s Party of Canada (PPC) youth and women’s committee criticised the cancer charity’s comments, calling them “absurd and sexist”.
“We must continue to reject these outrageous ideas and reclaim our institutions corrupted by gender ideology,” the group added.
