Jon Stewart Skewers Corporations for Pandering, Exploiting Gays During Pride Month

Comedian Jon Stewart spoke for the growing number of Americans on both sides of the political divide who are tired of corporate pandering during Pride Month.

Monday on Comedy Central The Daily ShowJon Stewart has sharply criticized corporate virtue signaling as nothing more than a cynical marketing strategy.

“Of course, Pride Month is a time when companies come together to financially capitalize on gay people’s decades-long fight for acceptance and equality,” he said, then joked, “‘Hey, remember that time you got fired from your bank for being outed as gay? Yep, I remember Burger King, the burger with the two bottom buns!'”

As Stewart pointed out, Burger King has actually run Pride-themed promotions that feature either the two bottom buns or the two top buns.

He continued, “Conversion therapy hurt? Skittles is releasing a colorless version of Skittles! Apparently they don’t want to confuse gay people with competing rainbow colors.”

Stewart then went on to poke fun at an Oreo commercial featuring a lesbian couple wooing a conservative dad, as well as Target’s Pride clothing line.

“What the hell?” the comedian said.

Stewart is a company American Psycho.

“Let’s stop pretending that corporations are woke or unwoke, patriotic or unpatriotic. Let’s let corporations live their truth. They are profit-driven Patrick Bateman psychopaths.”

This year’s Pride Month kicked off with an intersectional nightmare.

Earlier this month, a mob of anti-Israel protesters disrupted an LGBTQ Pride parade in the streets of Philadelphia, leading to violent clashes between the two groups, with anti-Israel protesters chanting “there is no pride in genocide,” Breitbart News reported.
