Former President Donald Trump is “thriving” despite the constant political attacks, President Trump’s daughter-in-law and Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview at Turning Point USA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio, Texas.
When Breitbart News asked Lara Trump how her father-in-law was doing despite the constant political attacks (most recently the constant loafing), she said her father-in-law is not only surviving the attacks, but is “thriving” in the midst of them and more focused than ever.
“I can’t tell you how impressed I am with this man every day. He’s my father-in-law. And of course … he has a very dear place in my heart, but I don’t know anybody, just as a human being, who could have not only survived what he’s been through, but thrived and really still be fighting and be prepared to face more,” she said, explaining that Trump knows “there’s more coming for him.”
“I think he really has an incredible ability to… distance himself from all this and focus on what’s really important, and I honestly have never seen him as focused on anything as I see him right now, focused on winning this election,” Lara Trump continued, noting that most people wouldn’t be able to do that with everything being thrown at them from the swamp.
“I admire him because I know most people wouldn’t be able to stand it,” she continued, highlighting tender moments the former president shared with his grandchildren, some of which she has posted to social media, giving Americans a glimpse into how Trump interacts with his family behind the scenes.

“But I think those moments with his grandchildren and with our children are what motivate him to keep going, because he knows and he says this is not about me. This is so much bigger than him. This is so much bigger than our family. This is about the future of this country and really the future of the world, and he wants a world where his grandchildren can live in the same great America that he grew up in,” she continued.
“And I think that’s what continues to inspire him, but I really admire his fighting spirit,” she continued, adding that her father-in-law “never gives up” and “never backs down no matter what they do to him.”
“He’s truly a miraculous human being,” she added.
