Brad Pitt reportedly objected to his and Angelina Jolie’s first biological daughter, Shiloh, testifying about her wishes regarding custody arrangements.
Jolie filed for divorce from the “Fight Club” actor in 2016, requesting full custody of their six children.
sauce She told Us Weekly The boy, who was 14 at the time, was one of the couple’s children who wanted to testify at the 2021 hearing.
Pitt, 60, was awarded joint custody at the time.
But the court respected Jolie’s wish to have the judge removed from the case after it emerged that the judge had not disclosed a business relationship with Jolie’s legal team.
A second source told the outlet that Shiloh’s relationship with the Oscar winner has deteriorated significantly over time.
“She was (used to be) very close with Brad and his family, but that relationship (has changed) in recent years,” the source said.
Page Six has reached out to Pitt’s rep for comment.
Shiloh filed a legal petition to remove “Pitt” from her name on her 18th birthday, leaving her famous father “devastated.”
The little girl has not yet been allowed to change her name, but her new nickname will reportedly be “Shiloh Jolie.”
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that Shiloh’s sister, Vivian, omitted her father’s last name in a playbill for “The Outsiders” last month.
The dancer, who helped her mother Jolie (49) produce a Broadway show, was reportedly referred to in theater magazines as “Vivian Jolie.”
Pitt has reportedly taken a “strong stance” since the name change request came to light.
“This was symbolic of deeper discord that has been brewing for years,” a source told the outlet, with another claiming that he is “finding the news extremely difficult to accept.”
A third added that Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne “don’t have the best relationship” with their dad, but that he’s “not ready to abandon them just yet.”
Last year, Zahara dropped “Pitt” from her name during her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony at Spelman College in Atlanta.
During probate, she referred to herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie.”
And in 2021, Us Weekly reported that Pitt and Jolie’s 22-year-old son, Maddox, “does not use Pitt as his last name on non-legal documents, but instead uses Jolie.”
His co-stars on “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” include 20-year-old son Pax, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The former couple were declared legally single in 2019, but divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
