Indiana State Police say they found a man covered in blood after breaking into a co-worker’s home to rescue her. Execute Exorcism.
According to the Avon Police Department, officers were called to a residence around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a possible burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Pharr Lane. The caller said someone had broken into the home and was yelling.
“I had to break the window. I have to perform an exorcism here tonight.”
Police said when they arrived on scene they noticed a white 2005 Toyota Prius still in the driveway and were told by the homeowner that a person named “Robbie” was in the home.
When officers ordered him to leave the home, he came out covered in blood and allegedly said, “I’ve also lost my sunglasses.”
The man was identified as 38-year-old Robert Narker, a co-worker of the woman at Chick-fil-A.
When asked by police why he was bleeding, Narkar reportedly replied, “I had to break the window. I have to perform an exorcism here tonight.”
The homeowner told police he had known Narkar since 2002, but that Narkar had sent him strange messages telling him not to listen to Spotify. During his arrest, Narkar reportedly repeated that the woman had not been stabbed and that “she is possessed.”
“Play track 3 to save her.”
Police said they found a broken window, shards of glass on the ground and a bloodstain leading from the window to the kitchen island, as well as bloodstained CDs and CD cases.
The blood trail led to the basement, where Narker used it to write an illegible word beginning with the letter “R” on a projector screen. Blood was also found on a couch in the basement.
The man reportedly yelled at police to “not look him in the eyes” and demanded that they “play the third song so I can save her.”
Narker was transported to Hendricks Regional Medical Center in Danville to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
He was charged with burglary, criminal damage and disorderly conduct but was not arrested.
Avon is located in central Indiana and is a suburb of Indianapolis with approximately 12,000 residents.
