Caitlin Clark resurfaces for extra practice after rough night in Fever win

The work wasn’t done.

Caitlin Clark had a tough game in the Indiana Fever’s 91-84 win over the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night, scoring just seven points, but she was back on the court shortly afterward to get some practice in.

Clark struggled in the game, making just 3 of 11 field goals and 1 of 6 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

After the game, Clark was seen practicing his jump shot on the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Filmed by Fox 59.

Clark started the game slowly, missing his first three shots in the first quarter.

The No. 1 overall pick finally made a 3-pointer with four minutes left, but the 27-foot jumper didn’t change things for Clark, who didn’t make any more 3-pointers that night.

She also had more turnovers (7) than assists (6).

The Iowa native struggled in Monday’s win over the Connecticut Sun, making this her second straight game to struggle.

She made just 3 of 8 shots and was held to just 10 points, as the Fever lost the game, 72-89.

This season, she is shooting 36.7 percent from the field and 32.17 percent from three-point range.

Those numbers pale in comparison to her collegiate stats, when she shot 45.5 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three-point range last season for the Hokies.

Despite Clark’s shooting slump, the Fever have won three of their last five games to improve to 4-10.

Clark will have a chance to bounce back on Sunday against the Chicago Sky for the first time since receiving a hard foul from Chennedy Carter in early June.
